US Navy SEAL DEVGRU NSW Gore-Tex Pants TYPE III AOR1
- Waist Drawstring – These pants have a drawstring that allows the wearer to adjust the waist to the perfect size.
- Zippered Pants – Pants’ crotch is zippered.
- 1/2 Length Pant Leg Zipper – Zipper running halfway up pant leg to aid in putting pants on and taking them off when worn over other clothes and boots.
- Pass Through Pocket Flaps – Open Flap pockets for reaching through and accessing layers worn underneath.
- Pant Cargo Pockets – Have large pockets for bulky items on the pants’ legs.
- Water Resistant – It can be exposed to water for a short period of time without being damaged or saturated with water. Generally not recommended to submerge water-resistant items unless the item is made for that level of exposure.
- APECS – All Purpose Environmental Clothing System. APECS is similar to the US Army ECWCS hard shell systems. They are lightweight and are less noisy than their ECWCS equivalent. APECS is primarily a USMC clothing system.
