Cockpit USA N-2B Short Winter Parka USA Made

Modeled after the iconic 1950's US Air Force parka, the N-2B Short Winter Parka is offered in a lightweight sage nylon. Much like the original, this modern version of the N-2B features a removable split zipped coyote trimmed hood lined with military spec coyote fur, a ribbed waste band and cuffs for maxim warmth. With two split entry chest pockets, to front flap hand pockets, and a left shoulder flap and side zip for storage purposes. Insulated with PrimaLoft, a lightweight alternative to goose down with similar features used by current military suppliers, this waist length parka is lined with Cockpit USA's signature logo lining and interior pocket detail.

Nice Jacket but some finish issues

Posted by Unknown on 18th Oct 2019

I really like the jacket, has some really nice leather detailing which you don’t normally see on a N-2B jacket. My one big complaint is: it arrived with the top button literally hanging by a thread, and another buttons thread looks like it is starting to come apart. While you might think thats no big deal to re-sew a button or two, it actually kind of is a big deal as the threading for the buttons is only through the outer layer, so to properly repair the button my tailor is going to have to open up a seam to re-secure it to only the outer later. Major pain in the butt, and wont be a cheap fix! So while the coat is really nice, for a coat this expensive you should never have to deal with a costly repair before you ever even get to wear it!
