Cockpit USA 40th Anniversary Bottoms Up A-2 Pinup Jacket
For our 40th Anniversary, Cockpit USA is proud to offer our Limited Edition hand painted "Bottoms Up" A-2 Pin Up Jacket. This jacket is a replica of the A-2 worn by the pilot of the Consolidated B-24 Liberator, "Bottoms Up". The hand painted artwork on the back of the jacket is referenced from the actual Nose Art that was painted on the fuselage of this World War II bomber. This Limited Edition jacket is crafted from rugged horsehide with a beautifully embroidered russet cotton poplin lining featuring our special 40th Anniversary Liberty Bell design. Other features include, two front flap pockets, an interior pocket for modern convenience, knit cuffs and waistband, and a slim fit for an authentic look and feel. In addition, the 400th BS and 90th BG patches on the front chest and 5th Air Force patch on the upper right sleeve are all applique embroidered. Finally, the silkscreened Army Air Force insignia on the left sleeve completes the jacket, adding to the authenticity of the jacket. The "Bottoms Up" Pinup Girl art is carefully hand painted, each painting unique, making each jacket a one of a kind.
