USMC ISSUE 3 SEASON SLEEPING BAG COYOTE BROWN SIZE REGULAR USA MADE
The top of the new bag can be pulled tight around your face and features two snaps that cover your chin for better protection against the cold and wind.
The sleeping bag weighs only 2.5 pounds, slightly lighter than the patrol bag. It also packs tighter than the modular sleep system, down to about 1,100 cubic inches (or roughly the size of a watermelon), and offers protection down to 10 degrees provided Marines layer their clothes properly.
This new three season bag is not considered an extreme cold-weather bag but a 3 Season one.
Sleeping Bag - The sleeping bag is made with a light weight compressible batting that provides a minimum 5.3 CLO rating, allowing the user to sleep comfortably in temperatures above 20°F. When used with the Improved Bivy Cover(Not Included) a ground insulator pad and proper clothing, intermittent use down to 5°F is achievable. This bag is also produced with an anti-microbial inner liner that helps to protect against the growth of microorganisms that can be dangerous to the user.
