In 1942 William Yarborogh created a unique pair of cargo trousers. Issued to U.S. Paratroopers for use in the Normandy invasion, these well-made, durable cargo trousers were part of the uniform dubbed the “M1942 Jumpsuit”. Soon to be followed by the “M1943 Combat Suit”.
P.I.R. Pays tribute to these original uniform trouser designs in quality, durability, and comfort. Updated for today’s fit and feel, all styles of P.I.R. Cargo Trousers retain the heritage and look that made them favorites of our boys who wore them proudly in wartime Europe.
