- Outdoor Research Swoop Gloves were developed for pilots and aviation crews in extremely cold conditions at high altitudes, the liner of the Swoop System is made of FR fleece with zoned insulation for the greatest warmth where its needed without being bulky where dexterity and tactility are key. Insulation is greatest at the back of hand and wrist to aid in circulation and provide superior warmth. Fingertips are made of seamless FR goat-leather for acuity of touch great enough for dialing a cell phone.
