The B6 Black Shearling Bomber Jacket is an elegant take of an iconic piece of American Fashion; its leatherized black exterior paired with a sleek white fur interior elevates this style into one of our most unique men’s sheepskin jackets to date.
The B6 sheepskin jacket was first introduced in 1939 and used extensively in the Army Air Force training command when pilots flew in open cockpit training planes but needed a lightweight jacket for ease of movement. Light enough to wear with a sweater and other layering pieces; the B6 sheepskin jacket is an incredibly contemporary piece of clothing designed by artisan’s years ago but current enough for the field or street. Please note that the shearling is tanned to “antique” as you wear it, giving “highs and lows” in the color so it looks as if you had this jacket since WWII. This will not affect the durability of this product. Sheepskin varies from production to production but you'll always receive the same craftmanship and warmth from Cockpit USA
