Silicon encapsulated fibers beads water away, protects you from the wind, and stretches with your lower body.  The L5 Glacier Pants are ideal for high exertion activity in cold weather.  Team it up with the L5 Glacier Jacket,  L3 Malamute High Loft Fleece Jacket and the L4 Bora Wind Shirt for even more protection and versatility.
 
Made with Nextec Epic Glacier fabric, the L5 is encapsulated with silicon to create a windproof highly water resistant pant.  While other performance fabrics rely on laminates, coatings or durable water repellent  (DWR) treatments to provide protection, Nextec encapsulation process places the protection inside the fabric.  This patented process provides a truly unique set of benefits pants that are highly water resistant, wind resistant, lightweight, breathable and packable.
